MSU@MCITy is the Vicksburg-based innovation hub of Mississippi State University, connecting researchers, entrepreneurs, small businesses, and industry partners to turn ideas into real-world impact.
The MSU@MCITy office in Vicksburg is a collaboration between the MSU Center for Entrepreneurship and Outreach and the Mississippi State University Office of Technology Management, combining expertise in technology commercialization and venture development to support innovators across Mississippi.
Through targeted programs and hands-on support, MSU@MCITy helps entrepreneurs build the strong foundations required to launch, grow, and scale successful startups.

Hands-on guidance that helps founders build strong startup foundations, including idea validation, customer discovery, business models, pitch preparation, and growth strategy.
Technology Commercialization
Support for teams and entrepreneurs interested in licensing or commercializing university-developed technologies, including market assessment, regulatory pathway exploration, and go-to-market planning.
Innovation Programs & Workshops
Cohort-based programs and training sessions designed to equip founders with the knowledge and tools needed to build scalable companies.
Funding Readiness (SBIR/STTR & Beyond)
Education and technical assistance to help small businesses compete for federal research grants and other non-dilutive funding opportunities.
